Module Aims:  Designed as an extension to the drafting module, where we will investigate some advanced sketching techniques. Producing perspective visuals from ground plans and elevations. You will research unique construction techniques used within the Film and Television Industries. Achieving convincing and realistic effects through the use of materials and paint finishes. Research into the more specific roles of certain trades and materials. Building a finishes and samples library. White card model making. Investigating advanced construction techniques.

Practical Tasks:  Apply some of these techniques to the designs produced in the Drafting module. Producing perspective sketches, paint and specific finishes drawings, white card models and producing references for the Construction, Props and Art Department.
